Beth Atkinson-Quinton

About

Beth Atkinson-Quinton is the Wheeler Centre’s audio producer, and a broadcaster, audio producer, and artistic programmer living and working on the unceded lands of the Kulin Nation.

Beth is the co-founder of podcast network Broadwave where she mentors emerging audio producers. Beth presents weekly storytelling show The Glasshouse on Triple R, and is the former Creative Producer of Express Media, where she managed the annual program of events, publications, prizes, and fellowships.

Beth has created audio documentaries for multiple broadcasters and podcasts including ABC Radio National’s Pocket Docs, FBi Radio’s All The Best, among others. She has presented her audio work at galleries and festivals across the country including National Young Writers Festival, Audiocraft Podcast Festival and Arts Centre Melbourne.

She has been a Footscray Community Arts Centre’s Emerging Cultural Leader, a Foundation for Young Australian’s Young Social Pioneer, and participated in ACMI and State Library of Victoria’s inaugural Foundry 658 program. She has run workshops and moderated conversations for the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival, The Walkley Foundation, Melbourne Writers Festival, and ABC’s OzPod Festival.
