Ben Taylor

Ben Taylor was elected to the Ballarat City Council’s South Ward in December 2008.

Councillor Taylor sees his role as Councillor as a great opportunity to be part of the decisions that will shape the city now and in the future. He is dedicated to being actively involved with events and issues in the South Ward and to being involved in shaping and guiding the strategic direction of the city.

His community involvement includes being a member of the Highlands Regional Waste Management Group, the Mt Buninyong Scenic Reserve Management Advisory Committee, the Ballarat/China Community Committee and the Destination Ballarat Advisory Board.

Councillor Taylor is a sales manager for local company Southern Cross Business Machines.

Ben is married with three children.
