Antoni Jach

About

Antoni Jach is a novelist, painter, playwright and poet.

His most recent novel is Napoleon’s Double (Giramondo) and his most recent play is Waiting for Isabella, act one (fortyfivedownstairs). One of his paintings appeared on the cover of Antipodes literary journal (June 2010) and in the same edition he published a long essay on painting and drawing. His PhD dissertation was on the role of the visual image in W.G. Sebald’s Austerlitz. He used to be a part–time academic but has recently resigned in order to write, paint and work as a book publishing consultant.
