Annie Proulx is one of the best-selling American novelists of our time.

Since winning the 1993 Pulitzer for the international best-seller The Shipping News, Annie Proulx has gone on to become one of the best-loved novelists and short story writers in the English language. She is the author of twelve books, including Postcards, Accordion Crimes and That Old Ace in the Hole and her acclaimed short stories set in and around Wyoming that introduced the world to Brokeback Mountain.

Her latest book is Bird Cloud, a memoir of childhood in New England, her father’s French Canadian heritage, until she met her great love: Wyoming.
