Angela Savage is an award-winning Melbourne author.
Her first novel, Behind the Night Bazaar, won the 2004 Victorian Premiers’ Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript. All three of her Jayne Keeney PI novels, set in Thailand, have been shortlisted for Ned Kelly Awards, with the most recent, The Dying Beach, also shortlisted for a Davitt Award. Angela won the 2011 Scarlet Stiletto Short Story Award for ‘The Teardrop Tattoos’, which was published in Crime Scenes (Spineless Wonders, 2016).
Angela lives in Melbourne with her partner, crime writer Andrew Nette, and their daughter. She is currently undertaking a PhD in Creative Writing at Monash University.
