Amaya Laucirica is an Australian singer-songwriter whose music blends elements of pop, rock and psychedelia. In 2011, she was named by Rolling Stone as one of the ten most exciting new female voices in Australian music, and was nominated for Female Artist of the Year at The Age Music Awards.
Amaya has toured extensively, performing at Primavera Sound (Spain), North by Northeast (Canada), Dark Mofo, NGV and QAGOMA.
Her music has featured in television and film, including The Slap (ABC), Friday Night Lights (NBC), and the feature film Summer Coda. She has also made television appearances on RocKwiz (SBS) and Sunday Arts (ABC).
