Alice Zaslavsky is an award-winning author, broadcaster, and veg-forward taste-maker. Born in Tbilisi, Georgia and based in Melbourne, Alice brings a global perspective to her fresh, inclusive food philosophy.
Alice hosts A Bite to Eat on ABC TV, appears regularly on radio & breakfast telly, and writes popular cooking columns in The Guardian and Good Food. In 2025, she was inducted into the MFWF Hall of Fame.
Her bestselling book In Praise of Veg has been translated into 7 languages, and won worldwide accolades, including a James Beard finalist nod. She’s also the author of the kids’ favourite Alice’s Food A to Z and kitchen confidence un-locker Better Cooking. Her latest, Salad for Days, is described by Yotam Ottolenghi as “stunning, fresh, luscious.” and was shortlisted for an ABIA award.
