About

Adam Kerezsy is a freshwater ecologist working with Bush Heritage Australia on the rivers and springs of inland Australia. His role with Bush Heritage Australia is focused on recovering populations of the critically endangered red-finned blue-eye, a small fish that is only known from Great Artesian Basin springs at Bush Heritage’s Edgbaston Reserve in western Queensland.

Adam completed his PhD at Griffith University in Brisbane and his natural history book Desert Fishing Lessons: Adventures in Australia’s Rivers was published in 2011.
