Presented on the occasion of Malouf's 80th birthday, to celebrate his achievements, we hosted a retrospective of his poetry and short stories with Australia’s first lady of letters, Ramona Koval. They travel on a journey to the heart of Australian life and celebrate the release of A First Place, while Malouf reflects on the quiet power of reading — and the simple act of sharing a book with someone else.
