Robyn Davidson: Unfinished Woman

When

Event Status

Go off the beaten track with Robyn Davidson, bestselling author of Tracks, as she blazes a new trail through uncharted territory – her past.

About the Event

Decades after the success of her first memoir, Robyn Davidson brings us Unfinished Woman, delving deeper into the diverse landscapes that have defined her unconventional life: from her childhood on a cattle station in outback Queensland, to her itinerant youth in Sydney, to migrating with nomads in India, to the literary high tables of London and beyond.

With unwavering honesty and mesmerising clarity, Davidson draws from her past to illuminate universal experiences of grief, growth, freedom and the search for home. The event will open with a reflection on Davidson’s work and influence by writer Anna Krien, followed by a conversation between Davidson and host Hilary Harper.

Live at the Wheeler Centre for Spring Fling, Davidson shares her wandering spirit and invites us into life beyond Tracks.
