It’s the same deal as always. Everyone gathers at the Wheeler Centre looking normal and decent. Then, four of Melbourne’s funniest and filthiest writers – James Colley, Gareth Davies, Ben Pobjie and Jess McGuire – share their rudest and lewdest fan fiction … and it quickly becomes clear that nobody is normal and everybody is very excited by muppets.
Slip your imagination into something a little more comfortable at the silliest – and, let’s face it, smuttiest – event on the Wheeler Centre calendar. Hosted by Ali McGregor.

Ali McGregor is an opera and cabaret singer currently hosting the cult favourite Ali McGregor’s Late-Nite Variety-Nite Night at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
James Colley
James Colley is the author of The Next Big Thing and head writer for Gruen and Question Everything. His previous writing credits include Head Writer for The Weekly with Charlie Pickering and The 1% Club, as well as writer on Summer Love, The Mole (US), and Built To Survive amongst many others. He's from Western Sydney and currently resides in South-West Sydney, so he hasn't moved far.

Gareth Davies is an actor and playwright based in Sydney. He has written and performed for the Black Lung Theatre (of which he’s a member), Belvoir St Theatre, the Malthouse and many more.
Gareth’s theatre credits include The Cherry Orchard (Melbourne Theatre Company); The Government Inspector (Malthouse Theatre/Belvoir); The Rover, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Peter Pan, As You Like It, And They Called Him Mr Glamour (which he also wrote) and The Seagull (Belvoir); As You Like It (Bell Shakespeare); and The Literati (Griffin/Bell Shakespeare). He has also performed at Belvoir for B Sharp in The Only Child, The Suicide and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
He co-wrote and performed in Masterclass and Masterclass 2 – Flames of the Forge (Redline Productions at the Old Fitz), and is a member of Melbourne’s Black Lung Theatre, collaborating on Avast and Avast II – The Welshman Cometh (Black Lung Theatre/Malthouse Theatre), Rubeville, Sugar, Pimms, I Feel Awful (Black Lung Theatre/Queensland Theatre Company), and Doku Rai (Black Lung Theatre/Darwin Festival), a show devised and performed in collaboration with artists from East Timor.
His film and TV credits include The Daughter (Screen NSW/Fate Films), The Letdown (Giant Dwarf/ABC), Hunters (Universal Cable/Valhalla) and the upcoming Peter Rabbit (Animal Logic).

Ben Pobjie
Ben Pobjie is a writer, comedian and poet with no journalistic qualifications whatsoever. He has a weekly column at Australian news commentary site newmatilda.com, and his writing has appeared in Crikey, The Age and The Punch, among others.
