Meet the Authors and Illustrators: Shaun Tan

Our annual big day out for little readers is back! Children’s Book Festival 2015 lands on Sunday 22 March.

Kids and their parents are invited to dive into the pleasures of books and reading in as many different ways as possible. There’ll be storytellers, musical acts and performers — plus the chance to meet some of your favourite authors and illustrators.

In this session, Shaun Tan will talk about The Lost Thing, and other sketches.

All events are free, but we're taking bookings for sessions featuring Hazel Edwards, Shaun Tan, Gabrielle Wang, Tristan Bancks, Oliver Phommavanh and Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton.

Get in quick – these sessions are sure to book out. If you miss out, though, don't worry; you can still bring your book along to be signed by your favourite author.
