There has been an explosion of vibrant new writing talent in Australia of late, and since we opened our doors, the Wheeler Centre has been right at the heart of the 21st century literary zeitgeist. Our first ever event was a Debut Monday, showcasing exciting new authors.
The Next Big Thing is the evolution of that event. In this special edition of the Next Big Thing we’ll hear from the first intake of the Wheeler Centre’s 2014 Hot Desk Fellowship, reading from the works they’re developing right here in the building.
These are names we believe should be on everyone’s lips. Join us to discover them before everyone else does!
