Sex, sex, sex … and celebrity. Not all storytelling is about boarding schools, bloodsuckers and bow-slinging lady killers. In this adults-only night of fantastical tales, anything goes.
Four writers share a short piece of self-penned smut about a celebrity or fictional character in Erotic Fan Fiction – a crowd favourite and unstoppable cultural phenomenon.
Hosted by John Leary, with Angie Hart, Benjamin Law, Adam Richard and Briohny Doyle.

Angie Hart
Angie Hart is a the kind of shy and retiring singer-songwriters that often gets mistaken for a snob. In her illustrious career, she has had the distinct privilege of cold-shouldering the likes of Madonna, Neil Finn and Carol King. Please don’t ask her about this. Tired of shoe-gazing, she now stares holes into carpets for a living.
John Leary
John Leary’s extensive theatre credits include North by Northwest, Private Lives, His Girl Friday and Realism (MTC); All My Sons, White Guard and Julius Caesar (STC); Peter Pan, The Business, The Book of Everything, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Cloudstreet (Belvoir); The Dragon and White Rabbit Red Rabbit (Malthouse Theatre); Just Macbeth (Bell Shakespeare); and The Marriage of Figaro (Queensland Theatre Company). She teaches at Deakin and RMIT universities, and is a 2017 Endeavour Award recipient – undertaking research fellowships at Yale and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Adam Richard
A stand-up comedian since 1997, Adam has performed all over Australia, Britain and the USA. He began his gossip queen career as Triple J’s Mister Bitch (2002/3) and has spent the last eight years as The Fabulous Adam Richard, part of Melbourne’s Number 1 FM breakfast team, the Matt and Jo Show on 101.9 Fox FM. In 2010 he also joined the breakfast teams on Adelaide’s SA.FM and Perth’s 92.9.
Adam has appeared as a guest on such embarrassing ventures as Celebrity Dog School, Hole in the Wall, and The Footy Show. He has also appeared in more classy fare, like Sleuth 101, Rove and Spicks and Specks (where his impression of an Australian Idol audition remains the most viewed Spicks and Specks clip on YouTube).
In 2006 Adam co-wrote and co-starred in a short film called Outland, which was based around a group of gay science fiction fans. In 2011 Outland became a 6 part television series which aired on ABC1 and starred Toby Truslove, Christine Anu, Paul Ireland, Ben Gerrard and Adam Richard as Fab.
Adam was a national finalist in the 1997 Raw Comedy competition. He was the recipient of a Moosehead Award grant in 1998 for his first ever full-length stand-up comedy show Tragedy. In 1998 he also played Sydney and Edinburgh in the live show oz.dot.comedy with Carl Barron, the subject of a Comedy Channel documentary directed by Kevin Carlin. In 1999, Adam made his commercial television debut performing standup comedy on Hey Hey It’s Saturday. He has self-produced several shows for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival since 1999’s Adam Richard in Disgrace.
Adam has been a regular guest on ABC’s The Glass House and Spicks and Specks, and Network Ten’s 9am and Rove Live, where he once had 300 nude men run at him!
For the past 3 years Adam has also made up one third of the hilarious weekly podcast Talking Poofy alongside Toby Sullivan and Scott Brennan.
