From unconscious toe-tapping to the translation of feelings into symphonies, the capacity to create and respond to music is one of the defining features of the human brain.

Offering a fascinating confluence, this Spring Fling event brings together Baroness Susan Greenfield – one of the world’s leading neuroscientists and bestselling author of The Human Brain: A Guided Tour – and experimental pop and performance artist Sui Zhen.

Together with our host, Late Bloomer author Clem Bastow, they will explore how our brains interact with music, and what this might mean for the future of science and musicality.

The evening will also include a powerful musical performance by Sui Zhen.
