Julia Busuttil Nishimura is a Melbourne based cook and author. She is the author of three best-selling cookbooks: Around the Table, A Year of Simple Family Food and Ostro; and a columnist for Good Weekend Magazine, ABC Everyday and The Design Files. Julia’s cooking is influenced by her Maltese heritage and Japanese family, the distinctive ebb and flow of Melbourne’s seasons, and by her time spent living in Tuscany, where she learned the joys of the Italian kitchen.
