Hazel Rowley is one of the world’s most respected biographers.

Hazel has written acclaimed accounts of the lives of Christina Stead and Richard Wright, and the relationship between Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre. In her most recent book, Hazel has turned her compassionate and penetrating gaze to Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt in Franklin and Eleanor: An Extraordinary Marriage.
