Christopher Paolini was educated at home by his parents. His abiding love of fantasy and science fiction inspired him to write his debut novel, Eragon, when he graduated from high school at 15.
By 19 he had become a New York Times bestselling author. Christopher lives in Montana, USA, where the dramatic landscape feeds his vision of Alagaesia. The Inheritance Cycle comprises four books: Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr and the epic conclusion, Inheritance.
