We share a sneak preview of the illustrated edition of Junot Díaz’s This is How You Lose Her. Plus: our exclusive video of Díaz on the ‘cruel distraction’ of Australia’s migration policy.
Many Melburnians have just been reading (or re-reading) Junot Díaz’s stunning short-story collection This is How You Lose Her in the wake of his Melbourne Writers Festival appearance last weekend.
Díaz fans old and new will be curious about the beautiful new edition of his linked short-story collection, with full-page illustrations to accompany each story, by acclaimed graphic artist Jaime Hernandez.
The deluxe slipcase edition will be available from October 31, but Entertainment Weekly has released three of the images in advance.
We’ve matched the illustrations with Díaz’s descriptions.
