Are you a ‘cHEwY gum gum’, looking for ways to bring your wildest story ideas to life? Look no further! Children’s book author Oliver Phommavanh is here to help, with a unique writing workshop that’ll help you dream up colourful characters, sticky storylines and more.
Phommavanh is the author of celebrated books for kids, including Thai-riffic!, the Stuff Happens series, The Other Christy and Super Con-nerd. He’s also a stand-up comedian for adults.
His kids’ writing workshops are loved for their emphasis on humour and creativity, and this session will be no exception. Best suited to children aged 8 to 12 years old, of all writing abilities.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while participating in Wheeler Kids events.
Little Bookroom will be our bookseller at this event.
