Comics Workshop

Do you know a budding Dana Simpson, Terry Denton or Jeff Kinney? Help them hone their skills at this school holiday comic-writing workshop in April.
Brilliant local comic artist Jess Parker will teach kids the introductory tools and tricks of graphic storytelling – from character creation and facial expressions to the basics of designing comic panels. She’ll reveal some of her own hard-earned knowledge, share tips and teach the basics of constructing a story. By the end of the session, everyone will have their very own comic to take home.
Suitable for children aged seven to twelve.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while participating in Wheeler Kids events.
