The worlds of fantasy and literature combine in this ever-popular event, in which our guests are released from the brig and run amok below decks, taking their favourite works of fiction and adding a frisson of galactic sexiness.
From Jane Austen to George R.R. Martin, our nymphomaniacs expose all the unspoken desire that simmers under the surface. Come down for a night of passion, pillow talk and heavy breathing as Erotic Fan Fiction loads its torpedoes and boldly goes where no one has gone before.

Kat Muscat
Kat Muscat was an editor, writer and feminist based in Melbourne. She wrote primarily about sex, sexuality, gender and mental health.
Kat was the editor in chief of Voiceworks (2012-14), and editor of Dialect, an Express Media anthology featuring writers from a refugee or migrant background.
Lawrence Leung
Lawrence is an award winning stand-up comedian, screenwriter and documentary-maker. He created the ABC1 comedy shows Lawrence Leung’s Unbelievable and the AFI Award-nominated Choose Your Own Adventure and co-wrote and starred in ABC2's action/comedy series Maximum Choppage. Recently, he wrote an episode of The Family Law (SBS2) and played a sleazy nerd in Jane Campion's Top of the Lake.
Lawrence has performed his one man shows in festivals and theatres around the world including London's Soho Theatre and the Sydney Opera House. His award-winning theatre show, Sucker, was adapted into the AWGIE-nominated feature film starring Timothy Spall. The screenplay was shortlisted for the 2017 NSW Premier's Literary Award.
As a hardcore geek, Lawrence once jumped out of a plane with a Rubik’s Cube and solved it during freefall – just in time to release the parachute.

Sam Twyford-Moore
Sam Twyford-Moore is a writer and the founding host of The Rereaders, a fortnightly literary and cultural podcast. From 2012 until 2015, he was the Festival Director and CEO of the Emerging Writers’ Festival, during which time he directed three Melbourne-based festivals, launched the Digital Writers’ Festival and toured the festival to Hobart, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and across Indonesia. As a writer he has contributed to the Monthly, the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Australian, Meanjin, the Guardian, the Lifted Brow and others. He is the author of The Rapids: Ways of Looking at Mania published in August 2018.
