Making a bequest is a deeply personal gesture that can enable you to make a lasting contribution to the Wheeler Centre that you may not be able to make during your lifetime.

You may choose to leave your bequest to the Wheeler Centre for general use or you can direct it to a specific area of the organisation that you wish to support.

Bequests of any size will contribute to our future work and will be gratefully received.

We recommend that you speak to a solicitor and financial advisor about the different options for leaving a bequest. For your convenience, we have prepared the following sample wording that you may use:

I give to The Centre for Books, Writing and Ideas (the Wheeler Centre) _______________ [a percentage or dollar amount] for the use and benefit of the Wheeler Centre at its absolute discretion free from all taxes and duties payable in respect of my death, my estate or the administration of my estate and I direct that the receipt of the CEO, Chairperson or other authorised officer for the time shall be an absolute discharge to my trustee for the gift.

By making a bequest to the Wheeler Centre you will enjoy all the benefits of our Annual Giving Programme.

If you wish to discuss leaving a gift for a specific purpose or activity at the Wheeler Centre, please contact our Development Team at development@wheelercentre.com.

Stay up to date with our upcoming events and special announcements by subscribing to The Wheeler Centre's mailing list.
