Chloë Reeson is a Brisbane writer and editor who has recently moved to Melbourne to pursue her Master degree in Cultural Materials Conservation at the University of Melbourne. She currently edits comics for online magazine Scum and her own works of fiction and non-fiction have appeared with publications such as Yen Magazine, The Lifted Brow, Stilts, Bumf, and Voiceworks.
Chloe is also the co-creator and screenwriter on Homecoming Queens, a web series currently in development with Screen Australia and Screen Queensland. After being diagnosed at age 22 with breast cancer, she is currently working on a memoir manuscript about her decision as a young, queer woman to have a double-mastectomy without reconstruction. In 2016, she was awarded runner-up in the State Library of Queensland’s Young Writer’s Award.
