Shoshanna Rockman was awarded 1st place for Batimore Science Fiction Society Prize 2022, 2nd place for Melbourne Poets Union 2022, 2nd place for Oprelle Publications Prize 2022 and 3rd place for My Brother Jack 2021. She was shortlisted for the Minds Shine Bright 2022, had two poems shortlisted for the WA Writers Poetry d’Amour Prize, five poems shortlisted for the 2022 Australian Catholic University Prize and three shortlisted for the Ros Spencer Poetry Contest. She had two poems highly commended for the Woorilla Prize.

In 2021, she was shortlisted for ACU (two poems), Ros Spencer, Robyn Mathison Poetry. In the same year she was published in Makarelle, Slush Love and Palette. In April 2022, she was published in The Canberra Times. In August two of her poems appeared in Gem Zines. Her work appears in Cordite 106:OPEN and Antipodes as well as several anthologies including Grieve, Confidence and 4W.

In 2023, her poetry appears in Victoria Writers. She received a number of international poetry prizes and a Wheeler’s Centre Hot Desk Fellowship. Her debut poetry collection, The half-breed, (published with Ginniderra) will appear in August 2023.
