Wednesday, 3 Sep 2014, 07:00pm - 08:00pm
Join us on Indigenous Literacy Day, as we announce the winner of the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for Indigenous Writing, one of the prestigious suite of Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards, and one of Australia’s leading literary accolades.
Hear from the judges about the fertile field of entries the winner was picked from, and why the winning entry stood out. The Indigenous Literacy Foundation will talk about their work supporting and promoting Indigenous literacy – and how celebrating our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander literary heroes enriches Australia’s literary culture.
With music by Rob Bundle.
Drinks and nibbles provided.
