The National Theatre of Scotland (NTS) has taken responsibility for what a Scottish national theatre might be through innovative programming and having no building. They tour extensively across Scotland and the world, and have thrown their metaphorical doors open to possibility and boldness. We talk with emerging Scottish playwrights Lynda Radley, Morna Pearson and Stef Smith, along with NTS’ new Literary Manager, George Aza-Selinger about a national theatre, pride and their theatre scene today.
