Game of Thrones with George R.R. Martin and Michelle Fairley

What do fantasy fans, political tragics and HBO nerds all have in common? Think swords, scheming, dragons, nudity … and the most controversial wedding in television history. It could only be Game of Thrones.
Its executive producer once tagged it ‘The Sopranos in Middle-earth’. Time magazine called Martin ‘the American Tolkien’. And it holds the dubious honour of being the most pirated television show ever.
The Wheeler Centre presents a one-off night to remember, as we host bestselling author and Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin, as well as Michelle Fairley –who plays Catelyn Stark (née Tully) in the HBO series. Radio presenter and comedian Dan Debuf will be our host for the evening.
This blockbuster event will give Game of Thrones fans a rare insight into George R.R. Martin’s incredible imagination and unveil his future aspirations for the series, as well as the inner workings of the series’ epic journey from page to screen.
Get up close and personal with the world’s most sought-after television creative, and one of the stars of his creation – and get your favourite A Song of Ice and Fire book signed by the author.
Supanova are hosting a special VIP function before this event. Details and tickets are available here.
Presented by the Wheeler Centre and Supanova Pop Culture Expo.
