About

Explore how experiments with form and language can bring another dimension to writing with British author Natasha Brown, who was shortlisted for the Folio Prize, the Goldsmiths Prize, the Orwell Prize and the Women’s Prize for Fiction for her form-busting literary debut, Assembly.

Through looking at form-defying work from authors such as Lydia Davis, Meena Kandasamy, Claudia Rankine and others, this intimate workshop will examine different approaches to experimentation. And, of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for hands-on literary experiments – no goggles or lab coats required!
