Erotic Fan Fiction

We’re slipping into something a little more comfortable with this next edition of Erotic Fan Fiction as we take it off ... site. To the Toff. We’re combining our favourite night of sexy stories with red velvet curtains, a more intimate setting and signature cocktails to keep everyone well lubricated.

Who?

Portrait of Nath Valvo

Nath Valvo

Whether it be his family, growing up in the 90's, his hatred of cats, Grindr or self-serve supermarkets, Nath's razor sharp and hilarious stand-up is winning crowds and critics over alike.

With sell-out shows annually in all major Comedy and Fringe Festivals, Nath is becoming a favourite of many comedy lovers around Australia. Some stand up highlights include performing to 3000 people at Falls Festival in 2014, being selected to perform across Australia as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow and receiving a number of five-star reviews from major newspapers. Recently, News Limited has begun
publishing Nath’s articles; his unique, funny, and relatable content is proving a hit with one of the biggest online audiences in the country.

Portrait of Demi Lardner

Demi Lardner

Demi has been doing stand-up since she was 16, and in a few short years has scored handfuls of awards – performing her unique brand of funny around the country and abroad.

In 2013, she won the RAW Comedy Competition and tied for first place in the national final of So You Think You're Funny? in Edinburgh. In 2016, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and then went on to win Best Newcomer in the same year at the Sydney Comedy Festival. She returned to Melbourne this year to win the Director's Choice Award.

Demi hosts and produces the podcast We Are Not Doctors with fellow comedian Bart Freebairn, playing listener voicemails and dishing out sometimes great, often terrible advice.

For many years, she was the editor of pop culture website Defamer Australia, and was a former co-host on Triple R’s Breakfasters.

The Wheeler Centre at The Toff

This July, we’re throwing sass at winter, stepping out and hitting the town.

While our own performance space undergoes a casual makeover, The Toff in Town will become the Wheeler Centre’s home away from home, as we slip down Swanston Street to take up residence with a mini-programme of events – held alongside drink specials and signature cocktails – in the heart of Curtin House.

Come and find us at the bar; you’ll find favourites from our regular series, a couple of special events and atmosphere in spades.
