As well as being one of Australia’s most loved and respected journalists, Leigh Sales AM is also a music enthusiast. She delves into the intricacies of this important lifelong relationship in Encounters with Music, a new series presented by the Wheeler Centre and ACO, hosted by Fenella Kernebone.

About

Leigh Sales is the author of four books and hosts the wildly popular podcast Chat 10 Looks 3 with fellow journalist Annabel Crabb. Until recently, she anchored the ABC’s primetime current affairs program 7.30. 

In an intimate conversation at ACO’s new home at Pier 2/3, Sales will reflect on the role music has played in her life and share some of the significant musical pieces that have influenced her over the years. 

This event is presented in partnership with the Australian Chamber Orchestra. Explore the other conversations in the Encounters with Music series featuring Larissa Behrendt, Bill Henson and Helen Garner.
