Get your weekend off to a fabulous start at Testing Grounds with a special storytime for the whole family, featuring live readings, face-painting, colouring activities and performances. Help decorate the storytellers’ throne, have your face-painted by Lainie Cann, and be dazzled and inspired as a glittering selection of local drag artists including Aysha Buffet, Mora Money, Randy Roy and host DANDROGYNY share some of their favourite picture books that celebrate difference and community.
Dress to express yourself and wear something that makes you feel truly you – whether you’re quiet, wild or sparkly, this is the space to share your special stories and your special self.
This event will be photographed and recorded for use by the Wheeler Centre. Please note, Stone Motherless Cold will no longer be appearing at this event.
