Sarah Krasnostein: The Believer
Wednesday, 24 Mar 2021, 06:30pm - 07:30pm
Past event
Join award-winning writer Sarah Krasnostein in conversation with Maria Tumarkin as they take a deep dive into the elusive, intangible act of believing.
With her award-winning debut The Trauma Cleaner, Krasnostein told the singular story of Sandra Pankhurst with deep empathy, clarity and curiosity. Now, in her second book The Believer, she explores the extraordinary beliefs and convictions of six ordinary people. Some believe in things many of us consider impossible: aliens, ghosts, life after death. Others hold beliefs that are no less challenging, but hit a little closer to home.
Both heartfelt and provocative, The Believer explores the many facets of faith with Krasnostein’s characteristic compassion and warmth.
