Lunchbox/Soapbox: Natasha Yacoub on Sex as a Weapon of War
Sexual violence against civilians is a common feature in modern wars. The impact on survivors, primarily women and girls, and their communities is devastating. There have been strong moves by the international community to prevent and respond to sexual violence in conflict. International human rights lawyer Natasha Yacoub explores whether these measures go far enough, and what more is needed to make a real change.
