Indira Naidoo

When

Event Status

Indira Naidoo has made the ultimate tree change – from nightly news broadcaster to unstoppable green thumb. Indira became a familiar face to many Australians during her news broadcasting stints in the 1990s on ABC TV and SBS, but in the years since, she’s turned her attention and talent to other matters close to her heart: gardening, food and sustainability. The author of two books, The Edible Balcony and The Edible City, Indira will discuss writing, cooking and the urban gardening movement.

In conversation with Louise Swinn, Indira might even be coaxed to share her recipe for pistachio pashmak.
